The Irish Holdings Associate Manager supports the management of US GAAP, statutory reporting, forecasting, and tax processes for the Irish holding company structure. The role contributes to the execution and delivery of all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements while ensuring strong governance, accuracy, and timely delivery across all outputs.
You will support and supervise a high‑performing finance and accounting team, work closely with the Country Controller, and contribute to continuous improvement across processes and controls.
Responsibilities
- Support, supervise, and coach the Irish Holdings finance and accounting team.
- Build and manage strong working relationship with the Country Controller
- Support Country Controller / Manager with ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Support the management and oversight of statutory accounts preparation process for all Irish Holding Companies
- Support monthly/quarterly forecasting and tax reporting for central holding entities.
- Supervise and participate in the US GAAP reporting including:Month, quarter, and year end processes including analytical reviews of results.
- Monthly payroll accounting
- Lease accounting
- Ensure that all reporting and deliverables are accurate and issued on a timely basis.
- Support improvement of the team’s skills and capabilities and identify areas to solve for Accenture.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement projects when applicable.
Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
- Professional accountancy qualification — preferably ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
- Experience with IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience preparing or supporting Irish tax computations.
