Summary:

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will assist with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing the relevant data platform components. Your typical day will involve collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models. You will engage in discussions to refine the architecture and design, ensuring that the data platform meets the needs of various stakeholders. You will also participate in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. Your role will require you to analyze existing data structures and propose enhancements to optimize performance and scalability, ensuring that the data platform remains robust and adaptable to changing requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of data systems, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
• Snowflake, Data Building Tool, and Azure
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools to ensure efficient data flow.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and architectures.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
