Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the desired requirements. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and continuous collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives. The engineer acts as the main liaison for application-related activities, overseeing the entire lifecycle from conception to deployment while maintaining clear communication with team members and clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
• Ensure timely delivery of software components while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance functionality and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mendix (Platform).
• Strong knowledge of application design principles and best practices within low-code development environments.
• Experience in configuring and customizing software applications to meet specific business needs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently during the development and deployment phases.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs to connect applications with external systems.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Mendix (Platform).
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
