Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. The position demands continuous collaboration with different stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and deliver optimal performance. The engineer actively participates in refining application features and adapting configurations to meet evolving business demands, ensuring seamless integration and functionality throughout the software lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and timely delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
• Strong command over scripting techniques to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex shell scripts in diverse environments.
• Experience in integrating shell scripts with other software components to support application workflows.
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development practices.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
