Role Summary

As a Partner Marketing Specialist, you will design, plan, lead, and execute partner marketing plans in alignment with the client’s overall marketing strategy. You will leverage regional marketing and communications programs, tailoring them to local market conditions. You may participate in account planning with client account teams and sales functions. You will identify and manage marketing services resources and third-party providers (e.g., agencies, designers, writers), ensuring quality deliverables and robust metrics reporting. You will also review campaign performance and present insights and trends.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Market Development Funds (MDF), including budget planning, execution, administration, and reporting. You will provide training and guidance to partners on how to access and utilize MDF effectively, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and compliance with funding policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute partner marketing strategies aligned with client goals.

  • Manage third-party vendors and internal resources to deliver marketing campaigns.

  • Analyze campaign metrics and provide actionable insights.

  • Oversee MDF activity execution, claims processing, and payment tracking.

  • Maintain accurate MDF reporting and documentation for audits and internal reviews.

  • Deliver training sessions and create guidance materials for partners on MDF usage and compliance.

  • Ensure MDF investments align with strategic priorities and deliver measurable ROI.

Basic Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of IT industry sales and marketing metrics.

  • Able to craft verbal and written strategic recommendations and guidance for marketing professionals.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong presentation and client-facing skills.

  • Digitally fluent with knowledge of digital marketing best practices.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Skilled communicator (written and spoken), ability to think on the fly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience working with technology manufacturers.

  • Familiarity with CRM, Marketing Automation and project management tools.

  • Experience in global marketing programs.

  • Experience working with high-end agencies.

  • Knowledge of MDF lifecycle, including planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Experience delivering partner enablement or training programs.

  • Experience working with high-end agencies.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B partner/channel marketing, or other indirect marketing and sales channels.

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic planning of end-to-end, multichannel marketing campaigns. (on/offline marketing)
