Summary:

The Network Operations Centre provides Infrastructure support for the client s Global Data worldwide location. Work as Subject Matter Expert of Cisco Routing and Switching and providing operational support in a multi-shift 7*24 *365 Operations Centre.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • L2 engineers working on operational support of the Global Data Network.
  • Supervise monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation of production problems per operations processes, affecting the global Datacenter network and systems infrastructure
  • Supervise troubleshooting and resolve hardware and software issues of LAN/WAN devices.
  • Implement, configure and administer CISCO ISE.
  • Must have knowledge of Flex profile, policy tags and site tags.
  • Strong knowledge of all 802.11 (a,b,g,n,ac,ax), 802.1x, EAP, TTLS, Radius, IPSK, and radio frequency communication principal.
  • Supervise troubleshooting of routing protocol related issues on the LAN/WAN.
  • Supervise implementation of the change requests as per business needs on Cisco routers and switches.
  • Manage work with the vendor product in delivery of data network service, hardware and software to agreed service levels.
  • Act as first level escalation source in case team members need assistance.
  • Provide supervision to operational support for LAN/WAN in a multi-shift 724365 Operations Center
  • Handling and escalating highly impacting operational issues to upper Management and/or 3rd party vendor escalation
  • Participate in team projects and project/technology transition
  • Identify and resolve chronic issues & convert them into SIP.
  • Conduct Quality Audit of the incidents worked and closed by the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must Have Skills: 10+ years experience in the troubleshooting and performance management of data infrastructure networks.
  • 2+ years experience of people management skills
  • Customer service skills and client focus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to convey technical information using non-technical language
  • Hands-on experience & troubleshooting ON Cisco Switches (Nexus, WS-3750 ,3650).
  • Must have skills on Cisco ISE.
  • Must have expertise on Routing and Switching, Versa, SDWAN, Infoblox, ISE, Wireless, SCADA/OT environment
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco Router.
  • Hands on experience on Infoblox DNS.
  • Hand on experience on Cisco Wireless Controllers (WLC9800).
  • Hands on with SD-Wan operation
  • Versa
  • Knowledgeable in the following Switching technology such as STP/PVST/MST/VRRP/HSRP
  • Intermediate knowledge of Routing Protocols (OSPF, MPLS, BGP, RIP).
  • Specific knowledge of BGP, OSPF and IP protocols in Cisco environment
  • Experience working on Qo

S in Cisco Router:

  • Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP)
  • Hands-on experience of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Ether Channel.

Certifications:

  • CCNA/CCNP- certification

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 8-12 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations.
  • A minimum of bachelor s degree or higher although relevant experience will be taken into consideration
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
