WORK YOU’LL DO

As a Business and Functional Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our IT projects, focusing on the intersection between business needs and technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with our clients’ business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable user stories, process flows, and functional specifications. Your leadership will extend to managing a small team of junior analysts, ensuring that project tasks are executed effectively. You'll be instrumental in shaping user functionalities and driving the development of clear acceptance criteria, helping our teams deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, particularly in the Retail and Corporate Banking and Customer domains.

• Design user stories, workflows, and functional specifications, ensuring that they align with business objectives.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the implementation of features is in line with functional specifications.

• Prepare detailed documentation, including functional specifications and acceptance criteria.

• Lead a team of 1-2 junior analysts, providing guidance and conducting reviews to ensure the quality of their work.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment.

• Oversee task management for your team, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

• Continuously improve processes and ensure that business needs are met efficiently and effectively.

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in creating functional specifications.

• Industry Knowledge: Established expertise in Banking, especially within Retail and Corporate Banking and Customer services will be considered a strong plus.

• Leadership Skills: Experience leading or mentoring junior team members is a plus.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate business needs and translate them into functional solutions.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to solve complex problems and think critically.
