Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth progress of application delivery while overseeing the technical direction and implementation strategies. The role also includes managing priorities, addressing challenges as they arise, and ensuring that the solutions align with the overall project goals and client expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the planning and execution of development tasks to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or risks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Strong experience in developing and optimizing custom applications within the SAP HANA environment.
• Ability to design and implement efficient data models and database procedures tailored for high-performance applications.
• Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues in SAP ABAP systems.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP applications with other enterprise systems.
• Capability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
