Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system challenges, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the reliability of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex environments to support business continuity and enhance system performance through timely problem resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to analyze and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and improve overall team capability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and optimize system functionality.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management processes and procurement lifecycle within enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving issues related to material master data, purchase orders, and invoice verification.
• Ability to analyze system logs and transaction data to identify root causes of application problems.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP MM and other modules such as Finance and Production Planning.
• Skilled in documenting technical solutions and creating user guides to support knowledge transfer.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
