Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to maintain system integrity and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• SME with strong experience in the BY SEQUENCING application and familiarity with other production line scheduling tools and knowledge on the production process
• The Techno Functional Consultant will lead and support the design, configuration, optimization, and integration of the Blue Yonder Sequencing module, acting as a bridge between business users, solution architects, and technical teams. The role demands strong manufacturing domain knowledge, deep Sequencing functional expertise, and solid technical integration capabilities.
• Lead requirement discovery and fit gap analysis for BY Sequencing implementations
• Design and Configure
• Configure and tune Sequencing Optimizers (Classic / Run Optimizer)
• Translate business constraints into optimizer parameters
• Validate sequencing results with planners and operations teams
• Support SIT, UAT, and production go lives
• Drive continuous optimization and performance tuning

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Blue Yonder Order Sequencing.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Ability to work with multiple software components and understand their interdependencies.
• Experience in managing and supporting critical business applications in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Blue Yonder Order Sequencing.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
