As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current infrastructure and solutions to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and execution of application and data migration strategies, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The engineer collaborates with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, focusing on leveraging both private and public cloud technologies to support next-generation outcomes. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of migration processes are essential to maintain efficiency and effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of cloud migration strategies to ensure seamless transition.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align migration activities with organizational objectives.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Netapp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to design scalable and high-performance storage solutions in cloud environments.
• Experience with integrating storage solutions across private and public cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and optimizing storage infrastructure during migration.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
