Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain business continuity and system reliability in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead efforts to improve incident response processes and enhance system stability.
  • Mentor junior team members to develop their problem-solving and technical skills.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Critical Incident Management.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose complex system issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple critical incidents simultaneously under pressure.
  • Experience with incident tracking and reporting tools to document and analyze incidents.
  • Capability to develop and implement strategies for incident prevention and rapid resolution.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Critical Incident Management.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
