Purpose
The Learning Partner is a high-impact role at the heart of Abb Vie OneHUB's People Excellence strategy. In this position, you will serve as a trusted advisor and learning strategist - shaping how our people grow, perform, and thrive on a global scale. You'll bring energy, expertise, and intentionality to every learning experience you design and deliver, directly influencing business outcomes and organizational capability.

NOTE:

This will be a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in North Chicago / 2 days remote)

Responsibilities Strategic Partnership & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders, aligning learning solutions to organizational priorities and OneHUB business goals
  • Influence leaders, subject matter experts, and employees across all levels to champion a culture of continuous learning
  • Contribute to and execute the global People Excellence strategy with a solutions-oriented mindset

Learning Facilitation & Delivery

  • Lead the facilitation of engaging, high-quality learning experiences across on-demand, virtual, and in-person formats
  • Adapt facilitation approach to diverse audiences, learning contexts, and business needs
  • Champion learner engagement and ensure measurable impact at every touchpoint

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Own end-to-end project planning and execution for multiple learning initiatives simultaneously - on time, on scope, and on budget
  • Manage competing priorities with precision, proactively anticipating roadblocks and planning to meet both current and emerging business needs
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery and stakeholder alignment

Data-Informed Decision Making

  • Leverage data and learning metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement
  • Use insights to make confident, evidence-based recommendations to business partners and leadership
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters preferred. 5 years of related learning and development experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships. Proven customer service orientation.
  • Strong consultative skills and experience working with business partners to determine departmental needs and providing solutions to address those needs.
  • Ability to communicate well and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Previous experience with learning related technologies required (LMS, virtual facilitation tools, collaboration platforms, etc.)
  • The ability to work independently and make quick and accurate decisions. A self-starter who anticipates needs, takes the initiative, and drives results without waiting to be asked. Demonstrated initiative, grit, and innovation.
  • Ability to present ideas and data in written and oral presentations. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye to detail.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.   • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
