About Abbott Electrophysiology Division

Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) division develops advanced technologies to diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders. Its innovative tools, like 3D mapping and ablation systems, help healthcare professionals deliver precise and effective care for patients with arrhythmias.

As a Clinical Development Specialist (CDS), you will play a key role in supporting the growth of Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) portfolio across the Nordic region. You’ll focus on engaging detractor accounts, driving product adoption, and providing expert clinical support during procedures. This role combines strategic commercial engagement with hands-on clinical expertise.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Drive market share growth in detractor accounts and support trial use of Abbott EP technologies.

  • Provide technical and clinical support during EP procedures across Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts.

  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Sales teams to execute account strategies.

  • Deliver tailored training programs and product presentations to new customers.

  • Support rollout of LMR and clinical projects, ensuring smooth handover to local FTEs.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Abbott products, clinical studies, and competitive landscape.

  • Document activities and insights using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Ensure compliance with Abbott’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or (Medical) Engineering.

  • IBHRE/EHRA accreditation (completed or in progress).

  • Medical background is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in EP 3D Mapping.

  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.

  • Familiarity with cath lab and OR protocols.

  • Fluent in English and local language.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to travel across the Nordic region.
