JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join a team where detail drives impact

Are you highly organised, commercially curious, and at your best when juggling multiple priorities? We’re looking for a Commercial Operations Associate to join a high‑performing Commercial Team that sits at the heart of a fast‑moving medical technology business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, thrives in a deadline‑driven environment, and takes pride in getting things right first time. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring pricing, tenders, contracts, and commercial data are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time — enabling sales teams to succeed and customers to be supported seamlessly. Solihull Office based.

What you’ll be doing

As a Commercial Operations Associate, you’ll support the end‑to‑end commercial lifecycle, from pricing queries to tender submissions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and managing quotations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery

  • Investigating and resolving pricing discrepancies so customer orders can be invoiced without delay

  • Responding to pricing and commercial queries from both internal stakeholders and external customers

  • Maintaining and updating pricing information across commercial systems and SAP

  • Supporting contract transitions and account changes, acting as a key contact for sales teams and customers

  • Assisting with the coordination and submission of tenders, ensuring deadlines, governance, and audit requirements are met

  • Keeping commercial databases clean, accurate, and fully auditable by archiving expired or inactive agreements

  • Acting as a quality checkpoint for UK pricing requests, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines

  • Collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Commercial leadership to resolve issues efficiently

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, data quality, and ways of working within the commercial function

  • Supporting ad‑hoc projects that contribute to the wider commercial strategy

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strong administrative capability with commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.

Essential:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Confidence working with large datasets and pricing information

  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of accuracy and pride in producing quality work

Desirable:

  • Experience in a commercial, pricing, contracts, or tender environment

  • Familiarity with Business Objects, Power BI, or reporting tools

  • Experience supporting sales or account teams in a regulated or fast‑paced organisation

What makes you successful in this role

  • You’re methodical, organised, and naturally detail‑focused

  • You’re comfortable working independently but thrive as part of a team

  • You stay calm under pressure and handle complexity with confidence

  • You’re proactive, dependable, and always looking for smarter ways to work

  • You communicate clearly and build trust with a wide range of stakeholders

Why join us?

You’ll be part of a business‑critical team whose work directly supports sales success and customer trust. In return, you’ll gain exposure to complex commercial operations, develop strong stakeholder relationships, and build a solid platform for future career growth within commercial, operations, or business support roles.
