JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To drive sales performance and market share growth of assigned biosimilar products in a highly competitive hospital environment.
This role leads hospital listing, price negotiation, tender management, and account protection initiatives in key hospitals, collaborating closely with Marketing and cross-functional teams to execute short- and long-term commercial strategies, ensuring sustainable business growth. It also involves identifying business opportunities and implementing targeted commercial programs, building strong relationships with key purchasing decision makers and stakeholders in assigned accounts.
Duties:
- Demonstrate independent execution and proactive problem-solving in field activities, and share good practice with the sales team.
- Initiate strategy for customer assigned and new product launch, build relationship with key users and implement pricing and accounts CME activity
- Elevate feedback from customer; analyses and report SFE result; provide suggestion and action and track follow up.
- Engage the opinions of key stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, high prescribing physicians, regional wholesalers), as identified by the Brand Team strategy and by the activities planned in the district in field team
- Manage and develop customer relationship to create both customer’s & company’s maximum benefit
- Analysis and reporting customers performance; design and development of effective solution
- Deliver expected performance and achieve sales in responsible district
- Ensure that engagement plans across districts are aligned with brand strategy and that overall execution across district is in line with expectations
- Report any product quality complaints and adverse events to Quality Assurance and Affiliate Safety Representative respectively.
Responsibilities:
Territory Sales Achievement:
- Achieve territory sales targets and drive market share growth in a competitive biosimilar market.
- Secure hospital formulary listings.
- Identify and drive business opportunities in assigned territory.
Territory Business Planning:
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with brand strategy.
- Lead and support listing, tender participation, and price negotiation in key accounts.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Target coverage of customers achieved.
- Target Call rate achievement
- Target call frequency achieved.
Customer Focus and Service
- Build strong relationship with hospital key stakeholders and key decision makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption.
- Provide timely customer support and collect market insights.
Reporting/ Administration
- Timely submission of Monthly Reports
- Clarity and relevance of intended actions outlined in Monthly Reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or business-related subject; Good command of Mandarin.
- Minimum 3 years strong sales track record in specialty care, oncology or hospital-based pharmaceutical sales.
- Experience in biosimilar, tender-driven markets, or highly competitive product launch is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and selling skills, and resilience under competitive pressure.
- Ability to manage complex hospital stakeholder environment.
- Driving a personal car is required for regular business duties and travel.
