The Opportunity
This position works out of our Abbott Thailand location in the Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals. As the Market Access Executive, you’ll have the chance implementing strategic partnership and market access strategy at the assigned MA authorities or regional/ hospital formulary listing committees.

What You’ll Work On

  • Market Access Strategy & Policy Literacy

  • Understands basic concepts of healthcare systems, payers, HTA bodies, and policy mechanisms.

  • Follows guidance to support simple access tasks such as landscape scanning or policy summarization.

  • Recognizes major policy changes but requires support to interpret their impact on access.

  • HEOR & RWE for Access Decision-Making

  • Understands basic HEOR concepts (e.g., cost‑effectiveness, budget impact) and types of RWE.

  • Interprets simple evidence with guidance and uses approved summaries for payer‑related tasks.

  • Recognizes how HEOR/RWE supports pricing and reimbursement but requires support to apply it.

  • Value Proposition & Dossier Development

  • Understands the basics of payer needs, HTA requirements, and the role of value dossiers (e.g., clinical, economic, and humanistic evidence summaries).

  • Curates and formats standard inputs (epidemiology, comparator landscape, endpoints, burden of disease, product profile) using approved templates and style guides.

  • Executes directed tasks (e.g., literature pulls, table population, reference management) with acceptable accuracy and on-time delivery.

  • Payer/HTA/Institutional Engagement Excellence

  • Understands the roles and decision drivers of payers, HTA bodies, and institutional stakeholders, and follows internal SOPs and compliance rules.

  • Prepares basic engagement materials (e.g., meeting notes, briefing documents) and supports logistics and follow‑ups reliably.

  • Communicates factual information clearly within the team and escalates risks or questions in a timely manner.

  • Pricing, Contracting & Tender Excellence

  • Understands basic pricing concepts (list vs. net, discounts, rebates) and standard tender/contract terminology; follows SOPs, approval flows, and compliance rules.

  • Prepares accurate inputs (price files, bid forms, item masters) and supports tender calendars, document collation, and submission logistics on time.

  • Tracks and records decisions (win/loss, price points, terms) and flags risks or deviations promptly

  • Access Governance, Compliance & Cross‑Functional Collaboration• Understands basic governance structures (roles, RACI, approval flows) and follows access‑related SOPs, data privacy, and promotional/non‑promotional boundaries.

  • Completes assigned tasks accurately (document control, versioning, meeting minutes, action tracking) and escalates risks or deviations promptly.

  • Shares information transparently with adjacent teams (Medical, HEOR, Pricing, Regulatory, Legal) and adheres to agreed collaboration etiquette

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Medical-related field or appropriate tertiary qualification.
  • Strong marketing and sales track record of >8 years in the pharmaceutical industry/hospital experience.
  • A person who has experience in the market access area and a strong relationship with key Oncologists, OCPA.
  • 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including significant experience in the Oncology market, even in sales, marketing, or key account roles.

  • Experience working in a multinational company with a matrix organization
  • Ability to interpret and integrate Market Access strategies into actionable, value-added planning activities
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and strong ability to develop relationships with external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Professional behavior with “can-do” and “open mind” attitudes
  • Winning mentality, dynamic, innovative, customer focus and cross-functional team player
