About the Role

This role reports to: Project Operations Manager

The work model for this role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Medium Voltage Switchgear business within the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Switzerland.

You will be responsible for the operational execution of medium-size customer projects within the Medium Voltage Switchgear business, from order handover through delivery and close-out. You will ensure disciplined project execution in line with contractual requirements, internal processes, and quality standards. Acting as the central coordination point, you will closely interface international factories, engineering, production, logistics, and local stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Owning end-to-end project execution towards the customer, coordinating with factory-based project managers, engineering, production, and logistics to deliver according to scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments
• Actively driving detailed planning, progress tracking, expediting, and interface management, with a strong focus on delivery reliability, issue resolution, and adherence to milestones
• Managing project financials, risks, changes, and claims in close alignment with internal stakeholders, ensuring early identification of deviations and implementation of corrective actions
• Leading project close-out activities, including customer acceptance, documentation completeness, and the structured capture, evaluation, and implementation of lessons learned to continuously improve project execution

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, or a higher professional education qualification in engineering (e.g. Höhere Fachschule), with strong relevance to electrical products and systems
• You have several years of hands-on experience managing or coordinating industrial customer projects, ideally within medium voltage switchgear, or complex engineered products
• You have solid practical experience applying project management methodologies (e.g. IPMA, PMP, or equivalent) in an operational, delivery-focused environment
• You are highly proficient in project execution tools, including MS Office, MS Project, Share Point, Teams, and SAP, and use them actively to drive transparency and control
• You are confident working with international factories and cross-functional teams, with strong skills in interface management, expediting, and problem solving
• You bring sound knowledge of contracts, change management, and claim handling, and are comfortable addressing deviations with internal and external stakeholders
• You communicate fluently in German and English (minimum C1 level in both), demonstrate a pragmatic, resilient mindset, and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
