This Position reports to: Quality Supervisor
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity
- Assist other QC Personnel, Operators, Assemblers, etc. when quality questions arise
- Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.)
- Train other employees
- Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications for the Role
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum 1 year experience in quality
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment, assembly or casting preferred
- Desired experience in SAP and Windchill
- Ability to work with teams and deliver feedback to operators concerning identified issues
- Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications
- Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models
- Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of time
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Work along of as a member of a team
- Initiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detail
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States
