About the Role

Reports to: Finance Manager

Work model: Onsite

Location: Shanghai, China

Division: Global Div Finance (EL-ELSB-SBFIN)

Main stakeholders: ELSB

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.

Mission Statement

Act as a strong individual contributor to support business controller to be part of Controlling teams to optimize financial performance within CNHTS. Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions.

Main Responsibilities

1.

Business Planning and Forecasting:

  • In coordination with business Controller, translate strategy into business plans and establish measurable targets
  • Oversee the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serve as the interface to business Controller
  • Evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions, build scenarios, and recommend actions

Business Deviation Analysis:

  • Support business controller to monitor financial aspects of the area of responsibility and related costs, production costing, operational KPI's for decision making
  • Identify issues and advise management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve
  • Provide professional analysis on sales mix, price variance, cost structure, productivity optimization
  • Manage and close monitors overdue and follow up on cash collection
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and visualize dashboards to support sales performance and target achievement

3.

Sales and Commercial:

  • Monitor all sales activity and provide financial aspects to improve sales performance
  • Responsible for customer credit policies, assessment, annual review, special evaluation and approval process
  • Perform risk review on bidding & distributors, in line with group and local policies
  • Monitor customer discount, rebate calculation and other subjects to pricing management
  • Provide solid analysis to support business profitable growth

4. Financial Reporting

  • In coordination with the business Controller, establish and oversee processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information
  • Ensure high quality and compliance of financial data and business information in line with defined standards & financial closing schedules
  • Conduct performance analysis, review & propose actions to management supporting business performance
  • Enforce country and BU specific finance directives and instructions, enforcement of Group Accounting and Reporting Guidelines and if applicable filing as per local (legal) requirements

5. Other Duties

  • Support team with temporary and urgent tasks
  • Act as project leader to finish company requirements
  • Other ad hoc tasks to be defined as business development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or above, major in Accounting, Auditing, Economics, Financial Management or related
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in Accounting, financial analysis, or controlling areas
  • Broad knowledge of diverse financial functions in manufacturing and general business
  • Good command of Chinese and English
  • Skilled at office software, ERP system; SAP experience is a plus
  • High potential on managerial direction, strong will of development and fast learner
  • Easy going, optimistic, patient, persevering, good inter-personal skills, with result orientation and customer orientation
