The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The Measurement & Analytics Division's portfolio consists of analyzers measuring compositions of gases and liquids; instrumentation measuring process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions measuring parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; and advanced digital solutions for device management, device health check and predictive maintenance. The Measurement & Analytics Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the marine industry. The Division enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from sensing and smart measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing 'before' and 'after' values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.
Role Overview
Reports to: Sales Manager
Your Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Promote the sales of ABB instrumentation in a certain region, industry and/or certain key customers
- Build up ABB instrumentation awareness in different industries/customers
- Develop ABB instrumentation applications in certain industry
- Manage and develop channel partners in the responsible region/industry
- Manage sales orders to the responsible customer/area/industry
- Follow up on projects, prepare commercial proposals and close orders
- Provide outstanding customer relationships
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree, major in instrumentation or automation
- Three years experience in selling instrumentation devices (flow, pressure, temperature and level products) in the process control industry preferred
- Good background of process control and automation industry, aware of automation instruments
- Priority for good sales experience in chemical, EPC and OEM industry
- Good skills for onsite automation measurement solution
- Must be a hard worker and responsible person
- Good capability of learning measurement products
- Action oriented, communicate effectively and team worker
- English capability
- Ability to use computers
- Accept to travel frequently
