About the Role

This position reports to the IS Manager and contributes to the Motion Drive Products division globally. The work model for this role is Hybrid.

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Digital Manufacturing Solution architect to support the implementation and further development of SAP DMC (Digital Manufacturing Cloud) solutions and ongoing operational activities. This role requires deep expertise in SAP DM, hands-on experience with SAP DM projects, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within a manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting ongoing SAP DM implementation, roll-outs and development
• Responsible for solution design and architecture reviews, handling development tasks
• Drive the collection, documentation, and analysis of client requirements to ensure alignment with business goals
• Work closely with application manager developers and integration specialists to define and articulate development and integration needs
• Apply industry knowledge to tailor SAP DM solutions, SAP ECC and OT (operative technology) for process manufacturing environments
• Ensure SAP DM solution base is maintained with good quality (technical maintenance) and suitable maintenance policy is enforced for upgrade of all relevant systems (such as OPC UA servers, production connectors, etc.)
• Oversee technical activities of AMS team in coordination of service and application manager and ensure best practices and SOPs are followed

Qualifications

• Proven 10+ years experience with SAP manufacturing solutions such as SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence), SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and SAP ECC/PP
• At least one completed SAP DMC implementation project
• Thorough knowledge development on BTP, CPI, Business Application Studio
• Experience of integration between SAP DM, production connector, cloud connector, OPC UA servers
• Hands-on knowledge of working with DevOps, GitHub
• Experience in maintenance of integrations between SAP DM and on-premise systems (certificates, destinations)
• Understanding of API and microservice architecture (beneficial)
• Understanding of SAP DM's analytical capabilities (beneficial)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• SAP certification in manufacturing or related modules (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of SAP DM and related technologies
