We are seeking a Spare Parts Sales Engineer to join ABB Motion Service, Business Line Unit China in Shanghai. In this role, you will be responsible for driving internal spare parts sales for exported large electrical motors and generators. Through close collaboration with local ABB sales representatives, you will ensure a premium end-customer experience while maximizing sales volumes and margins and providing comprehensive spare parts support.

You will also work very closely with our warranty and technical support team to provide the best possible end-customer experience.

In this role you will need customer service skills and knowledge, as well as the ability to learn and understand technical drawings. Team working skills and daring to be self-initiated but asking for help when needed is considered as an asset in this role.

Role & Responsibilities:

1.Supporting the local BL unit and customers in determining most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions

2.Preparing technical/commercial offers for spare part or service based on customer specification requirements

3.Co-ordinating with vendors and cross function to arrive at optimum cost for ABB offering

4.Ensuring a good level of operational excellence for maintaining responsiveness and improving customer experience

5.Working closely with MOHP and LSU team to give the customer the best service experience

6.Coordinate field service resources to ensure smooth implementation of overseas field service projects

7.Using BOL, Salesforce, SAP for order data management and tracking 8.Committing to self-development and professional capability enhancement

Qualifications for the role

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

2.A few years of experience in spare parts sales or after-sales service 3.Understanding of international trade processes and logistics operations 4.Basic technical knowledge to understand product specifications and technical documentation

5.A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills

6.Fluent in Chinese and English with strong written and verbal communication capabilities
