- Liaise with certification bodies and test laboratories to resolve technical issues and accelerate ABB certification timelines
- Maintain and update all ABB product certificates (renewal, modification, extension) and operate an electronic certificate ledger with expiry alerts
- Track evolving global regulations and standards, assess impact on ABB portfolios, and provide design-in compliance guidance
- Support factory audits for ABB; guide cross-functional teams to correct non-conformities and verify closure

- Issue the master Certification Plan, align milestones with ABB product-launch gates, and integrate into project-management systems
- Freeze certification build versions, seal and photograph reference samples, and ensure full traceability
- Schedule test slots, monitor real-time progress, and trigger rapid corrective loops on any failure
- Organize witness tests; coordinate ABB engineers for on-site evidence collection
- Manage certification change control: evaluate design, supplier, site, or process changes and execute delta testing when required
- Exploit the CB scheme to convert CB reports into multiple certificates (CE, KC, etc.) and shorten ABB time-to-market
- Scan quarterly market-surveillance and customs bulletins, benchmark against ABB shipped products, and initiate risk-mitigation actions
- Conduct conformity audits of marks, nameplates, and packaging to prevent misuse or expired certificates
- Lead certification lesson-learned reviews, update ABB standard design checklists, and feed modules into the reuse pool
- Represent ABB during factory-quality-assurance audits and maintain related evidence
- Develop and maintain certification e-learning packages and conduct annual training for ABB R&D, Product management, and Quality teams
- Monitor carbon footprint, REACH, RoHS, WEEE, EPR, and other green regulations to secure ABB eco-compliance
- Participate in national technical committees; propose standard revisions to embed ABB test methods
- Build an external expert pool (certification bodies, labs), drive cost reduction for certification expense
License to Operate / Core Values

- Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies

- Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks
Collaboration / Leadership

- Manages relationships with stakeholders in own area of responsibility and ensures alignment
