Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent Secondary Gas Insulated switchgear (RMU)portfolio and play a role to drive sales and market growth. Each day, you will oversee tendering and marketing activities and support Sales organizations in driving sales for their respective products. You will also showcase your expertise by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global/local product strategy.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy including the tendering activity for MV GIS portfolio
- Leading a team of people (5-6 members) for quotation management & Tendering
- Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
- Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
- Ensuring balanced growth for all product variants, in the business unit and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.

Qualifications for the role

Degree in Electrical Engineering (should be full-time)

Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in Domestic Marketing & Tendering of MV Switchgear (SGIS)

Hands‑on leadership in tendering, preparing techno‑commercial bids, conducting technical discussions with customers, and product positioning.

Enhanced understanding of MV Switchgear technologies (SGIS / GIS / AIS), with practical exposure to SFDC, quotation management, and configurator tools.

Confident communicator, fluent in English, adept at customer engagement and cross‑functional collaboration.
