ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid. The Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry and infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage transmission systems and low-voltage users. With ABB Ability™ enabled connected solutions at its core, the offering includes medium-voltage air- and gas-insulated switchgear (1 to 66 kilovolts), indoor and outdoor circuit breakers, reclosers, fuses, contactors, relays, instrument transformers, sensors, motor control centers, as well as low-voltage switchgear for the ANSI standard markets.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Reports to: Process & Planning Manager

Work model: Onsite

• After training, project management related to the analysis of production and non-production processes and their optimization
• Defining assignments and direction in automation, digitization and innovation for office and manufacturing environments
• Accepting responsibility for the company's core technology, its development and problem solving
• Collaborating on the analysis and optimization of software tools for production management (production line software, production information system, SAP, etc.)
• Improving productivity and finding savings

Qualifications for the Role

• University degree in economics (operations management / industrial engineering) or technical (electrical/engineering) or relevant experience
• Previous work experience in a similar position is an advantage, but the position is also suitable for graduates
• Logical and systems thinking, analytical skills
• Technical thinking and orientation in new technologies
• English language at a minimum B1 level, communicative proficiency
• Communicative, independent and able to work in a team
