About the Role

This Position reports to: Production Engineering Manager

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Medium Voltage Switchgear Unit in Brno. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Collecting, processing, and analyzing data from key processes, understanding it, and using it to optimize and manage processes
• Designing applications, prototyping them, and obtaining and processing feedback from the business
• Preparing specifications and ensuring application development, clarifying business requirements, and resolving them with the developer

Qualifications

• Ability to thrive in a project environment at the intersection of business and the IT technical community
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing processes
• Relevant experience with IT technologies such as SQL databases, web applications, SAP ERP
• Basic knowledge of coding (C#, JavaScript, Python), HTTP, REST API

About Distribution Solutions Division

ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid. The Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry and infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage transmission systems and low-voltage users.
