Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products/systems/applications.

Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.

Performing analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and proposing the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.

Delivering product/solution/service-related training; and supporting the managers in preparing and validating the technical articles to publish.

Qualifications for the role -
You have 5 years of experience in similar positions, with a solid track record in the field.

  • You are highly skilled in the electrical and/or electronic field and enjoy working with low voltage products within the industrial market.

  • You are at ease communicating in English at an intermediate to advanced level.

  • You hold a degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fields.

  • You possess enhanced knowledge of tools such as Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (nice to have - not mandatory)

  • You are passionate about leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving, and you are known for being outgoing and collaborative.
