About the Role
This Position reports to: Service Sales Manager
ABB Marine & Ports is leading the transformation of maritime operations. Our mission is to enable safer, smarter, and more sustainable shipping through cutting-edge technology and services. As vessels evolve to meet the demands of tomorrow, so do we – constantly challenging our solutions and ourselves to deliver excellence. We're looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our service sales across the Marine & Ports sector. Whether it's tankers, cargo ships, passenger vessels, or offshore vessels you'll be the trusted partner helping customers optimize performance, reliability, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute service sales strategies across key marine segments
- Promote ABB's full service portfolio – from digital solutions and maintenance to training and long-term agreements
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
- Identify new sales opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Represent ABB at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings as a passionate ambassador of our technology and values
Qualifications
- A passion for technology and a genuine interest in helping customers succeed
- A degree in engineering or technical studies (Bachelor's or Technical College)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or service operations, ideally within marine or industrial sectors
- Solid understanding of marine systems and customer needs
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
