About the Role

This position reports to: Smart Solution Team Leader

The work model for this role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the EL Smart Building in China. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design/development of software components or services
• Research and implement prototype of advanced technologies and applications
• Design documentation, software development related test implementation and support
• Software integration, deployment and verification on cloud
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master of Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• More than 5 years software development experience in Java backend
• Master the basic knowledge of Java, J2EE framework, JVM related principles and performance tuning
• Familiar with spring, Springcloud, Redis, MQTT, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, K8S
• Skilled in using git, Maven and other source code management tools
• Familiar with SQL/NO-SQL data base design and optimization, and master common Linux commands and shell scripts
• Good communication skills
• Strong logic thinking and systemic analysis competence
• Knowledge in Azure public cloud technology is preferred
• Knowledge in IOT security technology is preferred, e.g. AES, DES, RSA, digital certification etc.
