The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The Measurement & Analytics Division's portfolio consists of analyzers measuring compositions of gases and liquids; instrumentation measuring process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions measuring parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; and advanced digital solutions for device management, device health check and predictive maintenance. The Measurement & Analytics Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the marine industry. The Division enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from sensing and smart measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing 'before' and 'after' values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Work model: Onsite
Reports to: Procurement Manager
- Responsible for System Integration Unit direct categories, e.g.
Sample Condition System:
- FITTING & INSTRUMENT VALVE, Temperature & Pressure Gauge/Switch, FLOW SWITCH With IECEX, PRESSURE REGULATOR and other direct spending categories as assigned
- Develop a strong sense of urgency and the ability to drive resolutions
- Perform strategic sourcing methodologies by conducting market and spend analysis, for evaluating all the costs associated with acquiring goods or services from suppliers
- Assess direct and indirect expenses to ensure the procurement process aligns with the organization's financial and strategic goals, aiming to achieve the best value for money
- Identify and research potential suppliers across the country, evaluate their capabilities and qualifications, and determine which suppliers best suit the organization's needs
- Ensure Supplier Relationship Management planning & execution
- Build a category roadmap, perform sourcing activities, and lead competitive bidding by using e-Sourcing tools
- Conduct customer orientation with technical evaluation for suppliers' RFP
- Perform contract negotiation and award to supplier
- Utilize scorecard and quarterly supplier review to monitor supplier performance, such as on-time delivery and quality metrics
- Make decisions about future partnerships based on performance data
- Identify cost savings opportunities and keep up to date with market trends, such as new products, technologies, and suppliers
- Use market information to make informed sourcing decisions
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with company policy and regulations related to purchasing, such as competitive bidding policy, ABAC (anti-bribery & anti-corruption) laws and import/export regulations
Qualifications for the Role
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management/ International Trade / Business Management / Machinery / Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Sourcing, preferably with direct material sourcing background in manufacturing industry
- Ability to work in systematic and structured manner to ensure tasks are performed efficiently with minimal use of resources, time, and effort
- Analytical mindset with ability to influence others, drive self-learning and keep continuous improvement
- Result oriented with ownership mentality
- Teamwork spirit and good communication & coordination skills
- Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPSP (Certified Professional in Supply Chain) are valued
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Capable with e-Sourcing & Ariba and SAP
- Travel to Middle East or other countries may be required
