Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify optimisation opportunities across production lines, implement improvements, and deliver measurable results in efficiency, quality, and cost while gaining hands on experience in lean methodologies and problem solving.
  • Implement manufacturing solutions: Take ownership of process implementations. Whether developed inhouse or with external partners and validate outcomes, building technical expertise from concept to execution.
  • Work with cross-functional teams: Support Production during equipment and process start-ups by contributing to action plans, assisting maintenance and production teams, and developing your leadership capabilities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies: Assess new manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity, quality, and sustainability. Staying at the forefront of industry innovation while contributing to strategic decisions.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (recent graduates welcome)
  • Strong understanding of production processes, equipment principles, and assembly methods
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent problem-solving capability, persistence, and drive to succeed
  • Proficient English language skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
