This Position reports to:

Team Leader

We are looking for a candidate to join our European Operations Center in Ostrava as a Digitalization Engineer. We are seeking an engineer with programming experience. In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment, dealing with C# code, databases, interfaces with control systems, troubleshooting, and collaboration across various teams. You will work closely with project managers, technical specialists, and customers from critical infrastructure sectors. The position includes both analyzing existing code and occasionally writing new code, so curiosity and strong technical skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Deploying and modifying software solutions for storing, processing, and utilizing data from control systems for digital applications, advanced reporting, and process optimization.

• Developing and maintaining software solutions using C# and related technologies.

• Analyzing and debugging code to identify and resolve issues.

• Collaborating with project managers and international development teams.

• Ensuring smooth communication with customers in critical infrastructure sectors.

• Participating in international industrial and energy projects.

• Working on interfaces between various systems and solutions.

Who We Are Looking For

• You have a university degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, IT, or a related field.

• You have at least 3 years of experience in software development using C# and MS SQL databases.

• Experience with automation or projects in the process industry is a strong advantage.

• You want to work with the latest technologies and trends in digitalization.

• You have fluent English, including the ability to create documentation, and you want to work in an international environment.

• You are proactive, communicative, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• You enjoy direct interaction with customers and ensuring smooth installation and configuration of software solutions that meet their needs.

• You want to grow and learn new things.
