Reports to: ELDS Sales & Solutions Leader, APAC

Work model: Hybrid

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned area. Each day, you will manage the marketing and sales action plans to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by proactively leading, developing, and coaching the Marketing and Sales function.

This role is contributing to the Electrification in Japan.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating, planning, and implementing the marketing and sales mission, vision, and strategy, along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area
  • Leading the definition of the assigned division and area footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model)
  • Overseeing the assigned teams that identify, monitor, and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels and evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team
  • Defining key marketing and sales targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance

Qualifications

  • Proven track record (10+ years) in B2B marketing and sales leadership within the energy, electrification, or industrial automation sectors
  • Strong understanding of Japan's infrastructure and industrial markets, particularly in data centers, semiconductors, or large-scale construction projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic growth initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Hands-on experience in project-based business, including managing or overseeing end-to-end delivery of complex technical solutions involving international manufacturing and local commissioning
  • Proven experience in managing P&L responsibilities, with a strong understanding of financial drivers and business performance metrics
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both languages
  • Experience working in a large multinational or global company is a strong plus, especially in roles requiring cross-border collaboration and strategic alignment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Passionate about innovation, customer-centricity, and building high-performance cultures
