This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, driving both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Manages the supplier's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The work model for the role is:
This role is contributing to the Motion business for Traction division based in Ahmedabad, India
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Providing Service support, troubleshooting of failure, breakdown attention /preventive maintenance issues related to hardware or software and co-ordinate with customer and respective stake holders to correction of hardware/software issues as per requirement of customer as well as for improvement of product.
- Apply expertise to understanding the product control logic as well as improvement proposed to related stake holder for product improvement.
- Ensure the software/logic modifications lab or field level test/validation.
- Discuss and suggest software logic /parameter regarding Fine-tune the software depend on the analysis and validation.
- Counter partners for all the technical interaction with customers and internal teams.
- Support to Traction Technical and PLCM team.
Qualifications for the role:
- Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering OR E&E (Electrical Engineering) completed by recognized University and proven track record in troubleshooting, resolving critical problems and good understanding of electrical Schematic, logic and controls.
- Team leading capability and experience 3-5 years of metro, EMU, 3 phase electric Locomotives propulsion chain.
- Demonstrable expertise in Troubleshooting of rolling stock Equipment’s, fault finding analysis in terms of drive train (preferably metro, EMU as well as 3 phase Electric locomotives) and preparation of RCA.
- Expertise in Troubleshooting of IGBT based Traction converter, Auxiliary converter TCMS in metro trains, Propulsion system of 3 phase locomotive, battery charger as well as.
- Good understanding of electrical installations in rail vehicles (Knowledge on Electrical Locomotive/EMU/Metro is an advantage). Basic knowledge of protocols like CANopen, J1939, Ethernet (TCPIP/UDP/TRDP), MVB is an advantage.
- A Well-structured approach to problem solving and ability to learn fast. Ability to work effectively in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the globe.
- Readiness to travel for customer meetings & product performance corrective Ness (approx. 30-40% of working hours)
