This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Soft Bank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. Reports to: Business Chief Financial Officer
Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer of ABB Robotics, you will lead the global cash management function and be accountable for designing, operating, and continuously improving ABB Robotics' end-to-end cash management infrastructure as an independent company. You will build and lead a dedicated team, ensure liquidity and payment operations run efficiently and securely, and deliver transparency over cash positions, flows, and forecasts across approximately 40 countries. You will work closely with Treasury leadership, Finance, business teams, and separation workstreams to ensure full readiness for Closing and scalable growth thereafter.

Location: Europe, preferably in Zurich, Switzerland or Milan, Italy
Responsibilities
- Global Cash & Liquidity Management: Establish and operate a global cash management framework, including cash positioning, liquidity optimization, working capital visibility, and high-quality cash flow forecasting.
- Cash Pooling & Funding Structures: Define, implement, and oversee global cash pooling solutions, ensuring efficient intra-group liquidity flows and optimized deployment of excess cash.
- Payments & Bank Account Governance: Establish and govern the Robotics Group Payment Factory, define global payment standards and controls, and build and manage the global bank account framework, including compliance, security, and e-banking access.
- Treasury Systems Ownership: Act as global process and application owner for cash management modules within the Treasury Management System (TMS), driving implementation, bank connectivity, and continuous improvement.
- Leadership, Controls & Transformation: Build and lead a high-performing global cash management team, establish strong internal controls and compliance frameworks, and drive automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of treasury experience, including at least 5 years in global cash management within a multinational environment.
- Deep expertise in cash management, cash pooling, liquidity planning, payment operations, and bank account governance.
- Proven experience implementing or operating a Treasury Management System and global electronic banking platforms (Kyriba experience a plus).
- Strong project management and change leadership skills, with experience designing scalable processes and controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across regions and functions.
- Experience building and leading teams in an international, dynamic environment; carve-out or spin-off experience is an advantage.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
