This position reports to: Operations Manager

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India.

Work Model: Onsite

Your Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Maintaining the right inventory levels, optimizing them according to the company's targets while ensuring high customer service level
• Performing standard and detailed analyses of planning and fulfillment metrics, including Days Inventory on Hand (DIH), on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization
• Identifying key root causes for non-performance and driving improvement initiatives across business
• Running a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution (S&OE) process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution
• Coordinating an appropriate response to unplanned events
• Leading/contributing to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy
• Providing visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
• Segmenting and optimizing the portfolio of materials through ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and defining inventory policies based on the specified segmentation
• Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs
• Driving materials resource planning exception messages on a daily basis and coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with buyers

Qualifications for the Role

• Full time B.Tech EE and E&C
• Knowledge on ERP MM / PP Module in SAP
• Knowledge of Material management planning tools
• Owning the site supply planning process
• Providing visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process
• Running a short-term/Long term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution
• Supporting the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and Supply chain and feeder factories
• Collaborates with other units in the end-to-end supply chain
