Service Sales Manager – Motors and Generators

Position Overview

Reports to: Sales Manager

Work model: Onsite

Business unit: Motors and Generators Service business, Motion China

Main stakeholders: Local Division of Motion Service

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Actively promote service portfolio in assigned market
  • Develop the relationship and business to realize the targets set (incl. OR, Revenue etc)
  • Manage IB (Installed Base) by collecting and summarizing ABB and selected non-ABB IB information of responsible area
  • Define service opportunities based on IB and drive stable service business growth in long term
  • Define channel partners development plan based on IB information and market potential
  • Provide necessary technical and commercial support to channel partners
  • Develop new channel partners if necessary
  • Demonstrate familiarity with HV/LV motors, service products and sales management tools
  • Provide timely support to customers and suitable service solutions
  • Enhance customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Automation, Mechanical Automation or related engineering major

Language: English CET-4 or above

PC Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office

Personality traits:

Preferred experience:

  • Experience in motor or generator sales, application, engineering, sales support, after service, or site service
  • At least two years of relevant experience in motor and generator products
