Role Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

Work model: Onsite

This role is contributing to the PAEN Excitation in Canada.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Participate in the drafting/improvement of assembly instructions for the various production areas in the plant
• Create drawings of work areas
• Establish kanbans for wire, chute and production consumables
• Improve manufacturing processes, performance verification and methods with clear acceptance criteria

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent will be given priority
• Proficiency in Office suite (Project and Excel)
• Good knowledge of Auto Cad
• Reading of drawings and electrical diagrams
• Excel scripting and programming experience (an asset)
• Knowledge of electrical standards (ANSI, CSA, IEEE, UL and others) (an asset)
• French mandatory
