This role contributes to the Electrification Service (ELSE) division in Zuzwil, St. Gallen.

Position Overview

Reports to: Service Operations Manager

Work model: On-site

In this position, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in meeting its defined production targets by adhering to established systems and processes. You will work daily with machinery and equipment in the manufacturing environment. In addition, you will contribute your technical skills by reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions for the assembly of products, systems, or control cabinets.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Carrying out production and service activities in the areas of low and medium voltage, as well as railway applications
  • Inspecting, monitoring, and documenting work, including creating quality and user reports
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace safety, environmental standards, technical regulations, and workplace organization
  • Taking responsibility for assigned maintenance tasks and completing related work orders

Your Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as an Automation Technician or Automation Assembler (EFZ)
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Solid mechanical understanding for assembly and modification work
  • Professional and organized work approach with a clear emphasis on quality
  • Experience with electrical networks and the construction of energy systems
  • Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage systems
  • Fluent German skills (spoken and written), basic English skills
  • Team-oriented mindset, solution-focused approach, and clear communication skills
  • IT affinity and experience with tools such as Share Point, SAP, Word, and Excel
