Role Overview

Reports to: Project Operations Manager

Work Model: Hybrid

Location: Richmond, VA - Electrification Smart Power Division

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate certain aspects of a project. Each day, you will support Project Managers in management and execution of project activities. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conducting analysis of plan versus actual project performance
• Monitoring, controlling, and releasing requests for invoicing
• Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned and procedures agreed upon with the customer
• Reviewing project plans and ensuring that site safety and integrity topics are identified and addressed prior to the commencement of the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or project management
• 0–2 years of experience in project coordination or project management (internship experience acceptable)
• Basic understanding of project management principles and the project lifecycle
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Current work authorization to work for ABB in the US
