Position Details

• Reports to: R&D and Technology Manager
• Work model: Onsite
• Division: Smart Building division in China

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Dig into market demand, according to the characteristics of the company's products and strategy, to develop Energy Efficiency product and industry solutions development
• Develop industry solutions and provide professional technical support to customers
• Participate in and influence standardization activities, not limited to national, industry, local, group and other standards
• Understand the Energy Efficiency products system architecture and industry application of LV distribution system related products, be able to implement and organize internal and external training
• Lead the team to develop Energy Efficiency products and industry solutions to explore potential market demand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Electronic Design or Software Development
• More than 10 years' working experience, with Energy Efficiency products development, Cyber Security and certified project management experience is preferred
• Proficient in energy efficiency products and digital power distribution solutions, with extensive experience in developing related industry-specific applications and products
• Be familiar with Cyber Security requirements and implementation
• Project management experience proved by certificate of Worldwide company or PMP
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral
• Good communication skills
• Highly responsible, self-motivated and autonomous at work
• Strong learning ability and pragmatic spirit
• Has a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work
• Leadership and project management skill

About Smart Buildings Division

ABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions. The Division offers integrated digital technologies to control HVAC, lighting, shutters, and security, in addition to energy distribution solutions including DIN rail products, enclosures and emergency lighting through to industrial plugs and sockets and conventional wiring accessories, accommodating for single family homes, multiple dwellings, commercial buildings, infrastructure and industrial applications.
