Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global Category Manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Each day, you will purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Project Procurement SCM Interface: As the project procurement SCM interface, responsible for new project introduction, timely communication of project information and requirements to the team, internal planning and tracking of project implementation, coordination of new product development progress tracking, cost control, and fulfillment of other business stakeholder requirements.
- Supply Chain Digitalization and Intelligent Transformation Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain digitalization and intelligent transformation strategy, lead the implementation of digital projects (such as RFQ/price adjustment), and provide data analysis to help managers make efficient decisions based on data; promote new technologies and applications to improve supply chain work efficiency, and create visual dashboards and reports.
- Supply Chain Department Process Documentation and Optimization: Process documentation, improvement, and optimization of supply chain department, effectively promote and monitor implementation and execution, establish and form management mechanisms.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Commercial or similar degree
- Minimum 3~6 years sourcing related working in project sourcing/digitalization/ mechanical experience
- Good knowledge in digitalization cost analysis, project management would be preferred
- Excellent knowledge in sourcing methods; digital work ability, project management, and cost analysis, analytical skills and legal/contractual knowledge
- Excellent communication, cooperation and influencing skills when working with different senior level roles internally and externally with different suppliers
- Fluent English in both speaking and writing
- Ability to handle complexity and work under pressure, ownership, practical operation ability.
