Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products, systems, and services within the ABB Gas Analyzer portfolio, in line with the sales strategy. Each day, you will work toward meeting both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth and increased market share. This will include focused sales actions, channel management, and key account management for end users. You will also demonstrate your sales skills by identifying and developing new sales opportunities in the Malaysian market.

Work model for this role: Onsite

This role contributes to the Business Line Analytical in Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Increasing order volume for ABB gas analyzer products and systems in Malaysia
  • Executing targeted outreach and promotional activities to grow orders from new and existing customers
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities through marketing activities
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities and meeting forecasts and budgets
  • Managing designated key accounts using your technical and application knowledge of analyzer products and processes
  • Collaborating with service and project management teams to support customers in both pre-sales and post-sales stages
  • Working closely with local and factory teams to support customer requirements when needed

Qualifications for the Role

  • You enjoy working with customers and providing solutions using analyzer products
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analyzer sales or engineering
  • A Degree in Engineering (STEM disciplines)
  • Effective communication skills with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to handle several priorities and manage key accounts effectively
  • Motivation to pursue and develop new customers, applications, and markets
  • Proficiency in English and the local language
