Your role and responsibilities

You will be Responsible for sales of products within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to the ABB India, Electrification Business, Installer Channel as a Sales Specialist for LUCKNOW, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Own and manage business targets for DIN Rail and Wiring Accessories in the assigned cluster, ensuring achievement of value, volume, profitability, and product mix objectives.

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, enhance sales performance, and ensure alignment across product groups.

  • Develop and manage relationships with top builders, large contractors, and channel partners, while expanding a sustainable partner network and customer base.

  • Plan and execute monthly forecasts, order bookings, and promotional activities (workshops, seminars, and customer engagements) to reach business targets.

  • Identify new market opportunities, deepen customer relationships, and deliver value-based solutions by leveraging effective sales strategies and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications for the role:

  • BE / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or an equivalent discipline.

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate qualification; MBA.

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in sales or business development roles.

  • Solid exposure to wiring accessories is highly preferred.

  • Experience in Low Voltage (LV) product segments.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of market dynamics, customer needs, and channel management.

  • Documented ability to expand commercial opportunities, oversee primary accounts, and accomplish performance objectives in a tough market landscape.
