Reports to: Sales Manager
Overview
According to company strategy, engage in sales activities of relevant systems and solutions in the designated five major power generation group markets, establish long-term customer relationships, and manage specific customer needs and related matters. Identify and develop sales opportunities, especially opportunities for digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Orders and Profitability
- Engage in system and solution sales in the market according to the needs of your responsible business unit
- Focus on orders, product portfolio and profitability target completion
- Customer Relationships
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships
- Understand customer needs
- Actively promote the full product line/systems and solutions to customers
- Ensure good customer experience through sales behaviors
- Sales Planning
- Develop sales plans using company tools
- Regularly review order status
- Develop contingency plans when orders show declining trends to ensure stable growth
- Sales
- Create added value for ABB and customers
- Ensure sales planning, contracts and deals are achieved through excellent sales skills
- Communicate deeply with customers about ABB's solutions and strategies (delivery time, payment and basic terms)
- Market
- Ensure effective market activities and value propositions for customers
- New Market Opportunities
- Identify and drive new market opportunities
- Ensure knowledge exchange and cross-team collaboration
- Identify digital sales opportunities and promote digital solutions to customers
- Daily Management
- When necessary, provide management of sales process
- Support project management activities and collection work
- Sales Transactions
- Prepare solutions with relevant departments/market managers based on bidding situations
- Develop appropriate baseline and financial terms, including price and trade conditions, as well as product portfolio/digital solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with successful relevant industry or position work experience
- Strong sales ability and digital capability with related knowledge
- Passionate about work, strong learning ability, attention to latest market changes and trends
