Position Overview
Reports to: Service Operations Manager
Work Model: Hybrid
Location: Belgrade
This role is contributing to the Motion business in Belgrade. You will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Work with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points
- Be the technical and sales support on Motion products for local business unit
- Prepare purchase orders and complex project realization related to dedicated portfolio
- Prepare inquiries for factories based on customer inquiries and public tender specifications
- Perform field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products
- Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities
- Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations and offer solutions to avoid such issues in the future (both in office and on-site)
Qualifications
- Technical Electrical Diploma (major studies would be considered a plus)
- Experience in similar roles would be considered a plus
- Proactive skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Fluent in Serbian and English
- Current driving license valid in Serbia to be able to travel to domestic and/or international sites
- Available to travel mainly to Serbia
