Job Mission

Do you have experience with medium-voltage switchgear and want to work in a global environment, contributing technical solutions to the industrial and utilities markets?

ABB is looking for a Product Specialist to join the **Electrification **division, within Distribution Solutions, supporting the management and development of the medium-voltage portfolio, with a focus on Brazil and Latin America markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment between market needs and the product portfolio, working across the entire lifecycle of the offerings — from technical specification to commercial support, pricing, and product approvals. You will also play a key role in training internal teams and providing technical support to customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the medium-voltage switchgear portfolio, focusing on industrial and utilities segments in Brazil and Latin America.

• Support the Product Manager in defining and optimizing the portfolio, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and alignment with market demands.

• Lead product approval processes with utilities in Brazil and across Latin America.

• Deliver technical training to internal teams (such as Sales and PMS) and customers, ensuring proper positioning and application of solutions.

• Provide technical support to sales and sales support teams, including product configuration, technical analysis, and participation in commercial proposals.

• Monitor and analyze market pricing, supporting pricing strategies and competitive positioning.

• Collaborate with global teams, R&D, engineering, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.

• Participate in customer meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.

• Solid experience with medium-voltage switchgear, especially in industrial and utilities segments.

• Knowledge of the energy market, including medium-voltage applications and solutions.

• Experience in technical sales support, product specification, and customer interaction.

• Knowledge of protection relays and SCADA systems.

• Advanced English for interaction with global teams and R&D.

• Availability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of protection relays and SCADA systems.

• Advanced Spanish for working across Latin America.
