The Role
Reports to: Operations Manager
As Application Sales Support Specialist, you will support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in Canada by adapting our products to customer applications to meet customer specification. Select optimized products and technology, preparing documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
Work model: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Process Industries division of Automation business area in Merida.
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
- Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
- Using your knowledge of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
- Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanics Engineering or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in engineering roles
- Background in administration, control systems, motors, or low and medium voltage drives
- Advanced level of English
- French communication skills as an asset
- Microsoft Office proficient management
