About the Role
As a Production Operation Manager – High Power Division, you will be responsible for the operation of the High Power team, including Assembling, Testing, Production Engineering and also close cooperation link with Planning and Fulfilment Team. As an ideal candidate, you'll have a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple departments toward maximum productivity. You'll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Your ultimate responsibility is to increase our operational efficiency in the Drives Factory.
Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Drive operational performance and KPI achievement across production operations, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, productivity improvement, and adherence to global and local strategies.
- Lead and optimize manufacturing processes and technologies, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain competitiveness.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching, and talent development, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE regulations, and corporate governance principles, while promoting a safe work environment and integrity in all operations.
- Manage operational budgets and resources, preparing annual plans, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions to maintain profitability and cost control.
- Execute quality improvement programs and customer-focused initiatives, including complaint resolution, benchmarking, and driving top-quality priorities to enhance product reliability.
- Coordinate end-to-end value chain activities to meet customer expectations for quality, service levels, and lead times, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
- Monitor operational plans and project execution, track deviations, and implement corrective measures to achieve financial and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably within electrical equipment or related industries, with a proven track record of achieving operational KPIs and driving performance improvements.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with ability to inspire teams, manage change effectively, resolve conflicts, and develop talent in a diverse, multi-shift environment.
- Demonstrated experience in production planning, capacity management, workflow optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies, with successful implementation history.
- Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as quality management systems, with commitment to fostering a culture of safety and quality.
- Strong skills in budget development, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English and Polish language (oral and written).
